Requirements:
• A Kazakh male (due to desire to add diversity to the team) with at least 10 years experience;
• Journalistic experience or significant experience in the PR department of a major company;
• Either international work experience or an international education;
• Experience in supervising small projects and teams;
• Fluent spoken Russian, English and Kazakh. A written English test will form part of the recruitment process;
• An ability to lead/manage small teams;
• Effective influencing skills, experience managing budgets and a proven track record in managing multiple levels of Communications and creative professionals through strong leadership, accountability and teamwork.
• The role requires a candidate with good all-round skills an ‘enabler’ or ‘connector’ who knows which functions and which people to bring together to address particular issues.
• Proactive in implementing long-term projects to enhance *** reputation in Caspian
• Able to engage credibly with senior regional and global *** management.
• Good knowledge of the Caspian social, political and economic environment and associated networks, required.

Responsobilities:
- Internal Communications and Website/Intranet content development;
- Support to ***and Joint Ventures on Reputation Management, promotion and Corporate Positioning;
- Development of storyline and messaging around the issues **** businesses in Kazakhstan faces;
- Proactive and reactive media relations management - ensuring maximum leverage of *** Business and Communications activities for reputation value;
- Active monitoring and proactive management strategy development for Caspian issues;
- Coaching and development of team (and JVs) around Media Relations and Issues Management;
- Ensure consistency in messaging and delivery for country specific communications;
- External placements (articles, Speeches, CI, Opeds etc);
- Exhibition and Conference Management;
- Advice to JVs on media relations and external positioning;
- Support to Social Investment Planning and delivery.
